About OpenClaw Roadmap
OpenClaw Roadmap is an independent learning site for the OpenClaw self-hosted AI agent. Guides here are written as operator lab notes—install paths, hardening, cost trade-offs, and end-to-end workflows—not as official OpenClaw documentation.
What this site is
When OpenClaw’s official docs explain the product well, the messy middle still remains: which install path to pick, how not to expose the Gateway, how to keep token spend under control, and how to turn a demo into a daily habit. This site exists for that messy middle.
- Clear install path and a first working channel.
- End-to-end workflows you can copy (not one-paragraph idea stubs).
- Security and cost treated as first-class topics.
- Honest trade-offs: local vs VPS, mini models vs flagship models, when to spend more.
Flagship lab notes
How to use this site
- Start with What is OpenClaw? if you are new.
- Install via the installation hub, then lock down with the security checklist.
- Ship one workflow before you design a SaaS.
- Estimate spend with the cost calculator and the playbook.
Corrections
OpenClaw moves quickly. If a command or UI path here is wrong, tell us via Contact with OS, OpenClaw version, failing command, and expected vs actual. Prefer upstream docs when they are the clearer source of truth: official docs hub.
